Everest Panorama Trek Everest Panorama view trek is ideal trekking for those with less time but who want good views of Mt. Everest. Everest Panorama Trek is too known for comfortable biodiversity with majestic mountains. It provides a good insight into Sherpa culture without being too strenuous for high altitude trekking. This trek offers an excellent inspection of Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and several snowy peaks with the world’s highest Mountain ‘ Everest’.
Our destination is up to the village of Tengboche with its famous monastery where we have time to soak up the atmosphere along with some tremendous views of the beautiful peak of Ama Dablam. The comfortable Everest Panorama Trek can be finished within 12 days. The trekking grade of Everest Panorama Trek is moderate. The trek covers 3,950m as a maximum elevation and minimum altitude of 2,840m.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Our representative will meet you at airport and will transfer you to your selected hotel where you will be briefed about the travel itinerary. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & preparation for the trek
Sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley is on the second day of the itinerary package. After having breakfast at the Hotel in the morning, you will start the sightseeing tour with the visit to the Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Similarly, you can also visit the holy Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple and also the Boudhanath Stupa which are important destinations for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. You will return back to the Hotel in the evening.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla an trek to Phakding (2,652m): 3-4 hrs
fter breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu airport for an early morning flight to Lukla (2,840m). After the 40 minute flight, we meet our other crew members, after packing and arrangements, we start trek from Lukla to Phakding (2,652m). Stay in local lodge.
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m): 5-6 hrs
Walking through a beautiful Pine forest, the track leads us along the Dudh Koshi River over many suspension bridges. We pass through the last village of Jorsale before reaching Namche Bazaar (3,440m). The trail climbs until we reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a final steep ascent, about two hours we get first sight of Mount Everest (8,848m)
Day 05: Rest day in Namche Bazaar
Today is rest day for this trek. Your guide will take you to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarters of the Everest (Sagarmatha) National Park, where we can observe an assortment of items related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plant and animal life of the Khumbu region. Stay in Local lodge.
Day 06: Trek from Namche to Thame (3,736m): 5-6 hrs
After breakfast we come out of Namche Bazaar, pass the monastery and begin with a short uphill trek. After an hour mostly downhill into the forest, the trip continues: the steep rise of about 50 m in altitude to reach a ridge around it. We reach the village of Phorte (3,680m) and the small town of Samde. Then, we head over a bridge which takes us to Bhote Koshi (3650 m). After crossing the bridge, we make a half hour climb that brings us to Thame. Stay in Local lodge.
Day 07: Trek from Thame to Khumjung (3,786m): 5 hrs
Today, we trek to Khumjung from Thame. Climb up to the famous airstrip at Syangboche. The Khumjung Valley is surrounded by the snowy peaks of Kongde and Thamserku and the sacred peak Khumbila which hosts a well known monastery that houses a yeti scalp. We also visit the Hillary School, which is at the same site. After having lunch, we spend the night in Khumjung. Stay in Local lodge.
Day 08: Trek from Khumjung to Tengboche (3,864m): 2 hrs
From Khumjung trek to Tengboche. On the way, enjoying close up views of Ama-Dablam (6,812m), Nuptse (7,861m), and Everest (8,848m). The Tengboche Monastery is the biggest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. We visit the monastery to witness the ceremonies of the Monks of the Everest region. Stay in Local lodge.
Day 09: Trek from Tengboche to Namche (3,450m): 5-6 hrs
From Tengboche, we trek down through the hillside blanketed by Rhododendron and Juniper trees. After crossing the prayer flag festooned bridge over the Dudh Koshi River trail. We follow the Dudh Koshi gorge descending rapidly through the Pine forests. The path eventually reaches Sansa, which is the major trail junction in the region. On reaching our lodge, we take a nice hot shower and have a very relaxing sleep in our room in Namche Bazaar. Stay in Local lodge.
Day 10: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m): 6-7 hrs
From Namche, the trail descends steeply downward so we need to take care. After crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi , the trail becomes more level and natural. Although we are travelling the same route down, we have completely different views. On arrival in Lukla for your check in hotel. Your guide will reconfirm your airline ticket to for your flight to Kathmandu in the morning. Stay in Local lodge.
Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu
We catch the morning flight and fly back to Kathmandu. You can rest and relax throughout the day in your hotel or do some shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Departure transfer
After breakfast we transfer you to the airport
