Mardi Himal Trek This Mardi Himal Trekking is one of the bitten Eco-tourism based trekking destination in Nepal. Mardi Himal Trek is a beautiful trek that takes you along the pristine oak and rhododendron forests to get a close up view of Mardi Himal, Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhre. You can witness the beautiful rice fields, lush valley and blue glaciers of the Annapurna sanctuary. The emphasis of the trek is on the forest and wilderness zone of these mountains. Mardi Himal is the name given to the feature of the long rising ridge and its summit that form the southwesterly lower slope of Mount Fishtail Machhapuchhare), the famous triangular skyline that is seen from the Phewa Lake at Pokhara.

This trek begins at Suiket Phedi towards the south western lower slope of Mount Machhapuchhre. The trail passes through Dhampus, the second largest Gurung village to venture into the deep forests to above the treeline. From high camp, we climb up towards Mardi Himal (5500 m), enjoying stunning views of Mt. Machhapuchhre(6997 m), the Annapurna Mountain ranges and Lamjung Himal. Definitely a trek you will remember for a lifetime.
